• Are your employee's email signatures in unison?

Making sure your employees have set an email signature with the same style, branding and information can be a major pain. It’s manageable when you’re small, but as you start to grow, and as your employees have more and more devices it can be a real time waster.

This is why we set our customers up with a cloud signature service instead. Each employee automatically gets the businesses signature added to every email, no matter the device. It also enables you to easily promote new products or services, just update the central template and all your employee's emails go out with the promotion.

  • Electronic Vault / Archive

Having an Electronic Vault / Archive system preserves all your email and business documents, and allows quick and easy searching across your entire organisation. Providing many benefits:

    • Resolving disputes with customers or suppliers
    • Recovering deleted emails, e.g. a disgruntled leaver who empties their mailbox on their last day
    • Meeting compliance regulations

There are many different electronic vault / archive systems available. Which one is best for your business? It will depend on what you are currently using to store information.

If you are using Google’s G Suite / Workspace, the answer is easy, Google Vault.

If you are using Microsoft Office 365, the retention policies feature can fill this role. Be careful, as you will need a licence that includes it, the popular Microsoft 365 business standard does not.

If your data is spread across multiple vendor systems you might be better off with a standalone vault / archive solution that can cope with all of them.

Doesn’t my disaster recovery or backup system do this? No, most do not allow you to search them like an Electronic Vault / Archive system does.

We will guide you through the process of choosing the product that’s right for you. We will implement the solution. And we will train your colleagues. Contact us to make that happen.

  • Email Security

Our email security solutions stops viruses, phishing emails and spam before they reach your inbox. We have solutions to fit all email systems, whether you have cloud based email (e.g. Google Apps/Office 365) or an on premise Exchange (or any other) mail server.

  • Need a new server? Maybe not!

Starting a small business three years ago, with 3 or more people, a Windows Small Business Server was a compelling proposition: quality software the big boys use for a bargain price. There wasn't anything else that would give you centralised mailboxes, calendars and contacts. But if you'd done that you'd be looking at replacing that server now or soon; and spending the same money again and a bit more.

  • Tales from our helpdesk: Mr. S. Claus...

Our helpdesk received a call from Mr. S. Claus, who wanted some help with his important deadline coming up.

His business was manufacturing/direct delivery - all year long he stays at his headquarters, in the Arctic, but once a year he travels all over the world, delivering to his clients.  His old email service, provided by his ISP, was straining under the volume of email from clients (mostly children) with what they wanted in this year.  He needed to change to reliable email system, able to cope with the huge number of emails  and he wanted to change quickly.

  • Understanding the benefits of email signature software

Almost every business recognises the importance of a professional looking brand and this is reflected in logos, websites and sales collateral. However, the brand image ‘ball’ seems to be dropped when it comes to email signatures.

Just how do you manage multiple employee email signatures? Can you control the look and feel of the emails your staff send daily to customers and suppliers? Are they cutting and pasting your company logo into Outlook manually? Does every employee use the same font and style in their email signature or are there multiple versions in circulation? Do they even use an email signature when using a mobile device? And what would happen if your company address or telephone number changed? Would everyone remember to update this?

To complicate matters further, have you given any consideration to how your employees email signature looks when viewed on a mobile phone or tablet? Other businesses judge you (and your company) not just by the content of your emails, but also by the look of your email and the signature you use to sign off. With clients and suppliers viewing your emails on multiple mobile devices and email clients it’s possible that your email signature could contain distorted images, fonts and uneven spacing - rendering it amateurish at best.

Taking control of the email signature situation

The good news is you don’t need to employ an army of IT consultants to address the email signature conundrum. We work with market-leading companies such as Clearformat and Exclaimer to create world-class email signatures to address the issues outlined above.

  • What happens to your business if employees can't get into the office?

    Snow day Provisioning

Though the concept of a white Christmas may bring joy to the hearts of children everywhere, it can chill a business to the bone!   As the holiday season rolls in, bringing with it harsh weather, terrible winds, the potential for flooding and of course, the chaos of hectic roads, we are once again reminded of the risk and potential loss of revenue for any business.
